Brangelina is officially no more. Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from actor Brad Pitt, spelling the end of what is probably Hollywood's most high-profile celebrity couple.

The BBC recorded over 3,000 uses of the hashtag #Bragelina from the Arab world as an Arabic-language alternative was created.
Users poked fun at traditional excuses often used when couples break up.
