Houthi rebels say they have targeted Riyadh's Al-Yamama Royal Palace during a meeting of Saudi leaders with a Volcano H-2 missile. The missile seems to have detonated over Riyadh by Saudi patriot anti-missile defences.
Footage on Twitter shows what appears to be a cloud of smoke over Riyadh. The (Sound of a Blast in Riyadh) hashtag in Arabic has quickly trended on Twitter.
Saudi television says no damage or casualties have been reported.

In a breaking news flash, Reuters agency reported an explosion and smoke rising from an unspecified area in Riyadh.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen has said it intercepted a missile over Riyadh, according to an Al-Jazeera newsflash.
Houthi rebels have previously targeted Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles, but Riyadh has claimed they were all intercepted. However, a New York Times investigation disputed Saudi claims earlier this month.
