A 19 year-old Palestinian was shot dead by the Israeli army early on Monday in Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said.
"Taher Mohamed Zakarneh was killed by occupation bullets in Qabatiya," a Palestinian health ministry statement said.
He died after being "hospitalised with a bullet to the head, a bullet to the right foot, a bullet to the left thigh, and burns", the statement added.

The Israeli army claimed that it had "conducted counterterrorism activity in the city of Jenin and in the town of Qabatiya and apprehended five wanted individuals suspected of terrorist activity".
It added that its soldiers had fired shots in response to rocks being thrown at them. Israel has killed and injured dozens of Palestinians in violent raids across the West Bank in recent months
The Israeli army also said that it arrested a total of 17 individuals in overnight raids.
Jenin and its surroundings have been a focal point of Israeli army raids. More than 50 Palestinians have been killed since late March, mostly in the West Bank.
They have largely been non-combatants, including Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian-American dual national, who was covering an Israeli army raid in Jenin.
