On Friday, once again the blocking United States vetoed a UNSC resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire ending the catastrophe in Gaza.
This latest veto comes after UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres invoked Article 99 of the UN Charter on Thursday urging the Security Council to act on the war in Gaza.
