US Defense Secretary says Israel has killed over 25,000 women & children in Gaza since October 7

During a congressional hearing yesterday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that more than 25,000 women and children have been killed by Israel since October 7.
When Austin was asked how many Palestinian women and children Israel had killed, he replied: "It is over 25,000."
He added that Israel can and should do more to protect civilians, while about 21,000 precision-guided munitions had been provided to Israel since the start of its genocidal war in Gaza.
