Academy Award-winning actress and activist Susan Sarandon took part in a solidarity rally for Palestine in New York City's Times Square on Friday. Taking centre stage at the rally - which was held for Quds Day, an annual pro-Palestinian event held on the last Friday of Ramadan to express support for Palestinians and oppose Zionism - Sarandon highlighted the tragedy that Palestinians in Gaza have faced since October.
