Norway, Spain, and Ireland to formally recognise Palestine as a state

In the early hours of Wednesday, three European states, Ireland, Norway, and Spain, announced that they would recognise the state of Palestine. The three countries had previously expressed support for the people in Gaza and condemned Israel's continuous attacks on the strips. Ireland's Prime Minister said in a speech that he expects other countries to follow after speaking to world leaders.
