On Monday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) made a historic step as chief prosecutor Karim Khan declared seeking arrest warrants for leading Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, along with three senior Hamas officials. In short, Israel and Hamas representatives firmly condemned the ICC’s move and have voiced their outrage on multiple occasions since the news dropped. Many Western nations allied with Israel, the United States in particular, were also quick to express discontent, directly calling out Karim Khan’s words.
