Egyptians feel Meh about Christiano Ronaldo's overhyped 'green-screen ad'
A new advertisement by Real Madrid Football superstar Christiano Ronaldo in Egypt has gone viral as part of the new campaign he had started with his new partner, Egyptian businessman, Ahmed Abu Hashima.
The campaign, which features Ronaldo in Egypt's streets and historical sites, aims to empower the young generation of Egypt.
"Very excited to introduce the first reveal of my campaign with #Egyptian_Steel and glad to partner with #ahmed_abouhashima in such an amazing project… Stay tuned for the second reveal," the Portuguese footballer said in a Facebook post.
Abu Hashima, the founder CEO of Egyptian Steel, which is sponsoring the campaign, also tweeted about the new partnership, describing Ronaldo as the brand ambassador of the company.

It did not take experts to notice that there was something off about the ad, which was apparently made using a body double, a green screen, and special effects.
