The New Arab is announcing the launch of its new website domain [TNA Graphic]

Our team has worked tirelessly to prepare for this moment, and I am happy to announce that our URL is now www.newarab.com. Our website will look and function the same way, but now our loyal and new readers can find us easier.

This change will also be reflected in our email addresses, which have changed to the format @newarab.com. All incoming emails will work if they are sent to our old addresses @alaraby.co.uk for the foreseeable future, but will eventually be phased out.

The move to a brand new domain name that reflects the branding of our masthead represents the last phase of our website’s relaunch and modernisation, which was first launched last year.

Our new domain name is also indicative of how much The New Arab has evolved and grown as a masthead since it was founded in 2014. We’ve grown from a small news site born out of the Arab Spring’s desire for human rights and dignity into a progressive and diverse platform for all, covering stories that matter to our global audience, from climate change to minority rights and big tech surveillance. 8 years on, we are prouder than ever to highlight and elevate the voices of a New Arab generation. We felt it was time our URL reflects that.
