Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah has been praised for defending a homeless man who was being abused at a petrol station close to Anfield football stadium.
The Egyptian forward, who has been nicknamed "the Pride of Egypt", was caught on CCTV defending David Craig - a homeless man who was being harassed by a group of men, and handed him a large wad of cash.
"Mo is a real-life hero in my eyes and I want to thank him."
Salah, who netted five goals in just four appearances this season, became the first Egyptian to win English football's top trophy.
The 28-year-old Egypt captain is also the second ever Arab national player to win the league.

The Egyptian forward, who has been nicknamed "the Pride of Egypt", was caught on CCTV defending David Craig - a homeless man who was being harassed by a group of men, and handed him a large wad of cash.
"Mo was every bit as wonderful as he is for Liverpool on the pitch. He heard what a group of lads were saying to me, then turned to them and said, 'That could be you in a few years'," Craig told a UK daily.
He explained that he had lost his home after falling out with his family and slept rough, close to Liverpool's ground, ever since.
After the incident, which took place on 28 September shortly after Liverpool beat Arsenal, Salah was filmed withdrawing cash for Craig from an ATM, who was left stunned by his kindness.
"I only knew I wasn't hallucinating when Mo incredibly handed me £100. What a complete legend," he said.
"Mo is a real-life hero in my eyes and I want to thank him."

Salah is not only a record-breaking goalscorer, but also one of the most visibly Muslim players in the UK.
The superstar player regularly performs an Islamic prostration to thank God every time he scores a goal, an action which has been included in the FIFA 2019 video game.
