MbS' bodyguard spoke of 'sacrificing' Khashoggi like an 'animal'

The dismembering of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's body was discussed 13 minutes before he entered the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul October 2018 and was murdered, new information has revealed.

On Wednesday, the United Nations released an expert report into Khashoggi's killing, with gruesome evidence against Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman linking him to the murder.

The bodyguard of bin Salman and Senior Saudi intelligence officer Maher Abdulaziz al-Mutreb, was recorded consulting well known forensics doctor Salah Mohammed Tubaigy on how they would dispose of Khashoggi’s body with no trace after the murder.

"Joints will be separated. It is not a problem," Tubaigy said.

"The body is heavy. First time, I cut on the ground. If we take plastic bags and cut it into pieces, it will be finished. We will wrap each of them."

Anticipating Khashoggi's arrival, Al-Mutreb asked whether "sacrificial animal" had entered yet.

Before he was killed, Khashoggi was told to send a text to his son.

Khashoggi, a Washington Post contributor and critic of Prince Mohammed, was murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.

The CIA has reportedly said the murder was likely ordered by the crown prince, the de facto ruler and heir to the Arab world's most powerful throne.

The prince this week warned against "exploiting" the murder for political gains.

Riyadh initially said it had no knowledge of his fate, but later blamed the murder on rogue agents.
