Lebanese citizens – 21 and over - are automatically registered to vote and 3.97 million are eligible to cast their ballot in 15 electoral districts.

A total of 103 electoral lists will compete for 128 seats in the Lebanese parliament, which is divided equally between the country’s diverse Muslim and Christian denominations.

The electoral districts are further divided into 26 sub-districts, in order to create a balance among different sects.

Voters will vote for a list of candidates, rather than an individual, and are able to choose to cast a second vote for their preferred candidate.
