Dozens of Palestinians were injured when Israeli troops opened fire on demonstrations on the Gaza border, officials reported on Friday.
Gaza's health ministry reported that 77 Palestinians were injured from gunshot wounds, while 30 protesters suffered from the effects of tear gas.
An Israeli tank opened fire on the protest, Palestinian Maan News reported.
Palestinians have held weekly protests on the Gaza border, over the siege on the enclave and the right for refugees to return to their homes they fled during the 1948 creation of Israel.
Around 10,000 protesters took part in Friday's demonstration, which came amid a massive military build-up by Israel on its border with Gaza.
Israeli deployed the biggest number of armoured forces on the Gaza border since the 2014 war this week with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu warning of "very strong action" against Palestinians.
Israel has accused Hamas, which runs Gaza, of orchestrating the protests.
At least 205 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza since the March protests began.
Israel's siege on Gaza will make the enclave "unlivable" by 2020, the UN has warned.
