Dozens of Palestinians were rounded up by Israeli forces in a stadium in Gaza, stripped to their underwear and their hands tied behind their backs, according to shocking new footage published by Israeli media on Monday.

The video - widely shared on social media - showed dozens of men, women and children stripped down to their underwear, blindfolded and kneeling on the ground in an open field, in what many described as would be "executions".

The video was filmed in the Yarmouk Stadium in Gaza, and the sign of the stadium was clearly visible.

Israeli tanks could also be seen in the footage as well as Israeli troops pointing their guns at the detained Palestinians as they entered the field in a line with their hands tied back, before sitting in designated areas.

An Israeli soldier carrying a baby, wrapped in a blanket, could be seen at the end of the video, which was reportedly recorded by an Israeli journalist.

The Palestinian outlet Quds News Network shared the video on its social media platforms, urging the international community to stop Israel's "field executions".

"The United Nations and human rights organisations have confirmed that the Israeli forces are carrying out field executions against civilians in Gaza after forcibly removing them from displacement centres and stripping them."

A recent report by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed that the Israeli army had executed dozens of elderly Palestinians in Gaza in direct shooting operations.

Euro-Med Monitor said that 1,049 elderly men and women were killed during the 76-day genocide - about one percent of the estimated 107,000 elderly people who live in the Gaza Strip, making up 3.9 percent of all Palestinian deaths during the aggression.

The majority of them were crushed to death under the debris of their homes or the shelter centres where they sought safety during Israeli airstrikes, or while being forced to seek basic necessities in the streets and marketplaces, the report.

The group said dozens were also targeted in killings and field executions.

In a related development on Tuesday, the director of the Yousef Al Najjar hospital in Rafah, Dr. Mohammed AlHams said that Israel will be hand over 80 bodies of Palestinians who were killed in Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed it will will be receiving dozens of bodies from Israeli forces through the Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing on Tuesday.

Quds News Network reported that the Rafah Municipality and the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) were preparing mass graves for the bodies of Palestinians detained by the Israeli forces amid the war on Gaza, which has so far killed at least 20,915 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 54,918.
