Israeli forces raid Ramallah Cultural Palace during film festival
Israeli forces have raided a cultural centre in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday according to Twitter users.
While not much information was made available, images on social media showed Israeli soldiers standing outside the Ramallah Cultural Palace, trying to stop people from taking pictures.
"Israeli army forces raiding the Ramallah Cultural Palace right now on the final day of the Palestine Cinema days festival," tweeted Yara Hawari, Palestinian academic and writer.
The centre was reportedly holding its final night of the Palestinian Cinema festival, which went on despite the raid according to Twitter users.
