Israel has mobilised units

Hamas said on Sunday that their fighters are engaged in intense clashes at several sites within Israeli territories, including in the settlements of Ofakim, Sderot, Yad Mordechai, Kfar Aza, Be'eri, Yated, and Kissufim.

They also reported infiltrating several sites within Israel, including the settlements of Sofa and Hulit.

This comes after an unprecedented operation was launched by Hamas's military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, deep into the settlements around the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army is yet to fully secure control over the settlements.

The Al-Qassam Brigades released footage of their launching of several kamikaze drones targeting Israeli targets, as well as an attack on the "Re'im" military base, which serves as the headquarters for Israel's Gaza division.

Hamas said that it will announce the number of Israeli prisoners in their custody within hours.

On Sunday, the Israeli army said that the previous night witnessed clashes at 29 sites near the Gaza border. They further noted that skirmishes are still ongoing at Be'eri, Sderot, Sofa, Kissufim, Kfar Aza, and Zikim near the Gaza border.

The Israeli army says it has regained control over most of the sites that saw confrontations in areas surrounding the Gaza Strip. They reported targeting 426 locations overnight, believed to be linked to Hamas.

Israeli sources have also reported intense clashes in the areas of Kissufim, Kfar Aza, and Be'eri, adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
