They prevented students reaching their schools and dozens of students and local residents were injured when Israeli soldiers fired tear gas.

Israeli forces also detained three Palestinians in the western area of Nablus city.

In Tubas northeast of Nablus, Israeli forces stormed the house of Hamid Musulmani, a former detainee, and re-arrested him. In the resulting clashes, a young Palestinian man was shot in the knee, WAFA reported.
