Jahshan

Elias Jahshan is the editor of groundbreaking anthologies This Arab is Queer (Saqi Books; 2022), and This Queer Arab Family (Saqi Books; 2025). He has also contributed short memories to several anthologies, including Arab, Australian, Other (Picador, 2019), Ask the Night for a Dream: Palestinian Writing From the Diaspora (Palestine Writes Press, 2024), and Homosexual Intifada (Interlink Books, 2026).  Elias is also a former editor of Star Observer, Australia’s longest-running LGBTQ+ media outlet, and has been published in The Guardian, Gay Times, Raseef22, My Kali, and more. He is currently the Social Media Manager at The New Arab.
