Two people were killed in a gas explosion in central Amman on Thursday morning, according to local media.
The powerful blast was felt in the surrounding area and completely destroyed the facade of the building.
The two victims have been identified as an Egyptian and a Jordanian man.
Two others were seriously wounded and a third casualty suffered moderate injuries. All are being treated in hospital, according to the Jordanian Civil Defence.

After inspecting the scene, Jordanian security forces attributed the explosion to a gas leak in a restaurant.
Gas canisters are commonly used in restaurants across the Middle East.
Video footage uploaded to social media showed the area in downtown Amman cordoned off and surrounded by fire engines.
