Blog: Twelve presidential guards were killed on Tuesday in Tunisia, when their bus was attacked by a suicide bomber on a central street in the country's capital.

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack in central Tunis on Tuesday.

A 10kg explosive was used in the attack, said Tunisia's interior ministry.

Those killed in attacks such as these often remain anonymous, but al-Araby al-Jadeed can share their names.
