Four Muslim Labour MPs have received suspicious packages since Monday just days after a hate letter was circulated across the United Kingdom calling for attacks on Muslims.
The Ealing Central and Acton MP, Rupa Huq, is the latest to have received a suspicious package, accompanied by a hate letter circulated across the United Kingdom days earlier calling for attacks on Muslims.
A member of Huq's staff was taken to hospital as a precaution after opening the letter, which contained a sticky substance.
"Staffer who went to hospital now discharged," Huq tweeted on Tuesday. "There is a definite pattern. It was the letter that did the rounds at weekend and subject of Parliamentary urgent question yesterday which was received."
The letter, which declares April 3 as "Punish a Muslim Day" details a point system for different ways to hurt Muslims, including throwing acid, ripping the hijab off a woman and "butchering" using "gun, knife, vehicle or otherwise" to score points accordingly.
Blowing up a Mosque was also on the points system, scoring 1,000 points.

On Monday two people were taken to hospital as a precaution after a "suspicious package" was sent to the office of Muslim Labour MP Mohammad Yasin.
Specialist officers investigated the package and found it was not hazardous, a parliamentary spokeswoman later said.
Labour MP for Bethnal Green and Bow, Rushanara Ali, also received the hate letter, while a fourth package was sent to Afzal Khan, MP for Manchester Gorton, but was not opened.
"Totally unacceptable for Muslim MPs to face this," Huq tweeted.
