Anti-Islamic State group forces in Iraq have cut off Mosul from its western supply lines, bringing the isolation of the Islamic State group stronghold to completion, Iraqi officials said Wednesday.
Fighters from the Hashd al-Shaabi [Popular Mobilisation Forces] militia arrived at the road linking Tal Afar to Sinjar, west of Mosul, and joined with Kurdish forces there, the officials said.
