Turner Prize winner: 'Arms embargo now, free Palestine'

British artist Jasleen Kaur, the winner of the Turner Prize for contemporary art, used her acceptance speech at Tate Britain to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and an arms embargo against Israel. Wearing a scarf in Palestinian colors, Kaur also urged the gallery to divest from companies complicit in Israel’s occupation and violence.
