Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade route in New York City yesterday Protesters sat down in the middle of 6th Avenue, between West 56th and 55th streets, as balloons and floats started moving south from Central Park.
Other protesters were among the crowd chanting "Free Palestine" and holding Palestinian flags.
They were eventually forcibly removed by police and some were detained.
