Palestinian dentist Najdat Saqr sets up tent clinic amidst Israeli devastation of Gaza

With his clinic destroyed during Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian dentist Najdat Saqr managed to retrieve equipment from the ruins and set up a tent to treat patients again.

Even though he is about to run out of anaesthesia, Saqr has just started seeing patients at the makeshift clinic he opened in a tent in Nuseirat refugee camp.

Israel has laid waste to the Gaza Strip since launching an offensive - and imposed a relentless siege - in response to the Hamas-led October 7 attack. The World Health Organization has said the health system in the Gaza Strip is barely surviving as a result.
