US President Donald Trump on Monday, threatened that if all the hostages held in Gaza are not returned by Saturday at noon he would propose canceling the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and "let hell break out."

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump hinted that he might withhold aid to Jordan and Egypt if they don't take Palestinian refugees being relocated from Gaza. Palestinians reacted with defiance and despair to US President Donald Trump’s warning, pointing out that he doesn't have the right to decide the destiny of Gaza and the Palestinian people.

Palestinian Politician Mustafa Barghouti said that Trump is undermining the ceasefire agreement. Hamas, has postponed freeing captives until further notice, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire's terms by continuing strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Trump has enraged the Arab world by floating a proposal that the United States take over Gaza, move out its more than 2 million residents and transform the territory into the "Riviera of the Middle East". The forcible displacement of the Palestinians under military occupation that trump is suggesting is a war crime banned by the 1949 Geneva conventions.
