Lebanese celebrate after ceasefire Hezbollah-Israel announced

Displaced people around Lebanon gathered their belongings to return to their homes further south, after a ceasefire ending hostilities between the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah and Israel came into force.

The ceasefire, brokered by the U.S. and France, promises to end a conflict across the Israeli-Lebanese border that has killed thousands of people since it was ignited by the Gaza war last year.
