Israel has launched extensive airstrikes across Gaza, resulting in over 400 Palestinian deaths, including many children, effectively ending the two-month-old ceasefire with Hamas.

Gaza's health ministry reports that hospitals are overwhelmed, with medical supplies running critically low, leading to increased fatalities among the wounded.

The Israeli military has ordered Palestinians residing near the border to evacuate their homes, forcing thousands to flee amid ongoing bombardments. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the military action was in response to Hamas's refusal to release hostages, accusing the group of rejecting mediation efforts and prolonging negotiations.

Hamas has condemned the attacks, accusing Israel of breaching the ceasefire and calling on international mediators and the United Nations to intervene.

The White House confirmed that Israel consulted with President Donald Trump before resuming military operations. Over the past 18 months, the conflict has devastated Gaza, resulting in more than 48,000 Palestinian deaths and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
