Today, November 29, is the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, a moment to reflect on the urgent challenges they face. In Gaza, Israeli forces have displaced millions, and essential services like hospitals and water are in dire condition. Meanwhile in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Palestinians live under the brutal Israeli military occupation. This day highlights the urgent need to address these challenges and reaffirms support for Palestinian self-determination, as emphasised by the UN this week. Amid escalating crises, the day of solidarity also serves as a call for justice, recognition, and lasting solutions for Palestine.
