Mai Abu Moghli is a researcher whose work focuses on critical approaches to human rights education, teacher professional development in crisis and emergencies, refugee education and decolonising research and higher education.

 

Maha Shuayb is the Director of the Centre for Lebanese Studies and Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge. 

Partnerships in education research exploit unequal relations

The occupation of knowledge has led to a concentration of opportunity in favour of those residing in the Global North. This unequal relationship has led to academic exploitation and the stifling of research access for those in the Global South.
