Israeli forces kill Palestinian teenager, shoot worker in occupied West Bank

Hassan Ahmed Jamil Musa, 19, is the latest Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, amid a series of army and settler raids.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a teenager on Sunday morning, after he was shot by Israeli forces on Saturday evening in the occupied West Bank's Askar camp, east of Nablus.

Hassan Ahmed Jamil Musa, 19, was shot amid a series of continued raids by Israeli forces and attacks by Israeli settlers.

In a separate incident, the Palestinian Red Crescent said a 26-year-old worker was injured by Israeli gunfire near the separation wall built by Israel in the town of al-Ram, north of Jerusalem. 

Paramedics transferred the man to hospital, where he was described as being in a moderate condition. The Jerusalem Governorate said in a press statement that the attack by Israeli forces was the continuation of a policy of deliberately targeting Palestinian workers with the intention of killing them. 

In Sinjil, north of Ramallah, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the eastern entrance to the town at dawn on Sunday, smashing four vehicles. The Sinil Municipality described the attack as "an attempt to spread terror among the residents".

Local sources cited by The New Arab's Arabic-language sister site, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, said that settlers under the protection of Israeli forces stormed the outskirts of the village of Al-Mughayyir on Sunday morning, raiding agricultural 

Meanwhile, local sources reported that groups of settlers stormed the outskirts of the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, this morning, where they raided agricultural lands under the protection of the occupation forces.

In the Atara, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces closed the gate to the town, forcing residents to take long alternative routes to reach their destinations.

The latest incidents come amid continued raids by Israeli forces, accompanied by settler attacks across the occupied West Bank. Israeli forces have done little to deter the settlers, who are attempting to expand the de facto borders of Israel by expelling Palestinians and setting up new outposts.
