- Reports suggest the US, Iran and Oman are expected to reach an agreement soon that would see the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with Tehran saying it was progressing the negotiations with its gulf partner to jointly oversee the key waterway.
- In Yemen, the internationally recognised government's armed forces have launched a widescale operation against the Houthis across several fronts, after the group's attacks on Marib on Friday killed at least 10 people.
- Regional countries have welcomed a defence pact signed between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan on Friday. The deal will see the countries adopt a clause similar to NATO's Article 5, which stipulates that an armed attack against any one of the three countries will be regarded as an attack against them all.
- Meanwhile, the Israeli military has carried out multiple attacks in southern Lebanon, including in the Tyre and Nabatiyeh areas.
- Israeli attacks have also continued in the besieged Gaza Strip, while Israeli forces and settlers carrying out several raids and attacks across the occupied West Bank overnight.
