British pornographic content creator Bonnie Blue faces deportation from Indonesia's resort island of Bali after being arrested on suspicion of illegally producing obscene material on Thursday, in a case that has drawn renewed scrutiny partly because of her recent endorsement of Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

Blue, 26, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was detained last week when police raided a rental studio in Badung, near Denpasar, following a tip-off from what officers described as a "concerned citizen". Three men, two Britons and an Australian, were also taken into custody.

Local police chief Muhammad Arif Batubara said the group was investigated for allegedly creating "pornographic or immoral" online content, an offence that carries a maximum sentence of 12 to 15 years under Indonesia's morality laws.

Police seized camera equipment, contraceptives and a pickup truck painted with the slogan "Bang Bus". Sixteen other witnesses were questioned and released.

Immigration officials now say there is no evidence of pornography, but the group still faces deportation for breaking visa rules, including working on tourist permits and violating traffic laws.

Bali's airport immigration chief Winarko said Billinger and the three men will appear before Denpasar District Court on Friday and are expected to be deported and blacklisted "immediately after the hearing".

Billinger's passport has been confiscated pending further questioning. Authorities have not confirmed where she was being held.

The case has generated wide attention in Indonesia and the UK, partly because of Billinger's high profile on social media and her history of public stunts.

She was banned from OnlyFans earlier this year after claiming to have slept with more than 1,000 men in 12 hours, and has regularly drawn criticism for provocative content filmed abroad.

She also made headlines on Thursday in Britain after publicly backing Nigel Farage and Reform UK.

Writing in The Spectator, she said she supports Reform's positions on immigration and inheritance tax, arguing that there were "too many people in the UK" and that the country was "very messed up".

Billinger said she was "not knowledgeable about politics" but believes Farage had "sensible" policies.

Farage is a hard-right, anti-immigration populist whose long political record includes repeated inflammatory positions rather than evidence-based policymaking.

Her comments drew further scrutiny of her trip to Indonesia, where officials have increasingly complained about foreign tourists violating local norms.

Several foreign influencers have been deported in recent years for posing nude at temples or filming inappropriate content at sacred sites.

Despite Bali's Hindu majority and large tourism industry, Indonesia's national laws strictly prohibit the production and distribution of pornography. Offences involving minors carry even harsher penalties.

Billinger and her companions will remain under immigration supervision until Friday's court session determines their removal from the country.
