Palestinian teenager dies after being shot by Israeli forces in West Bank
A 15-year-old Palestinian boy died on Friday after being shot by Israeli forces.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the teenager as Adham Sayed Saleh Dahman and said he died of "serious wounds caused by Israeli forces' gunfire," Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Wafa said he was killed in an Israeli attack on Friday evening in the Dheisheh camp, south of Bethlehem.
Dahman was shot in the abdomen, the report said. His death takes the total number of Palestinians killed by Israel in the West Bank on Friday to three.
Two young men were earlier killed by Israeli soldiers in Qalandiya north of Jerusalem.
In another development, a young man was shot in the foot by Israeli soldiers near the Hizma checkpoint north of Jerusalem, and was taken to hospital.
Israeli forces also blew up the family home of Mahmoud Al-Aqqad in Nablus in the northern West Bank. He was killed on September 28, 2025 after carrying out a car ramming attack against Israeli soldiers.
Israel has a long term policy of demolishing the homes of families of Palestinian attackers, a practice that has been widely condemned by rights groups as collective punishment.
Attacks by Israeli settlers and soldiers have increased ever since the Gaza War broke out in October 2023.
According to an AFP tally based on figures from the Palestinian health ministry, at least 1,054 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers or settlers in the West Bank since the start of the Gaza war.
