A 13-year-old child was injured by Israeli forces on Saturday as they stormed the town of Al-Zababda, south of Jenin in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that he was shot in the foot by Israeli soldiers, adding that he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The mayor of Al-Zababda, Ghassan Dabayis, told The New Arab’s sister site Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that “the child was injured as the Israeli occupation forces passed through the town while raiding the nearby town of Aqabah.”

According to local sources, the occupation forces carried out a series of simultaneous raids in several towns and villages in Jenin Province, in addition to the city of Tubas and a number of its surrounding villages.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested a young man in the Askar al-Balad area, east of Nablus after storming the city on Saturday.

They also arrested another young man in the city of Tubas after raiding and searching his home. These arrests are part of the daily raids carried out by the Israeli army on towns and cities across the West Bank since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023.

On Friday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man at the Balata refugee camp near Nablus in the northern West Bank on Friday, and confiscated his corpse, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

Israeli settlers also continued their attacks on Palestinian villages and towns. This morning, groups of settlers attacked the Wadi al-Mughayir area in Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus.

Settlers also raided the al-Dubbat neighborhood in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, while others vandalized and stole a water pipeline that supplies several communities in the northern Jordan Valley.
