In recent days, Israel has started destroying high-rise buildings in Gaza City as its military presses on its offensive.

Israel has pressed its military offensive on Gaza City, launching airstrikes against high-rise towers as Israeli troops move deeper into the city.

Overnight strikes against the enclave killed 17 Palestinians, according to Al Jazeera, citing medical sources, with an airstrike targeting the Al-Farabi school, which had been converted into a shelter.

As Israel continues its military action, the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the al-Quds Brigades, launched two rockets at Israel, with the Israeli army saying that one rocket was intercepted, while another landed in an open area.

Israel has killed 64,368 Palestinians in its war on Gaza, with a further 162,367 wounded.

Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces detained several Palestinians in overnight raids in areas surrounding Ramallah, Jenin, and Hebron.
