Israeli attacks have killed at least 104 Palestinians since Saturday, including 37 aid seekers, as Syrian security forces begin deploying in Sweida province.

At least 104 Palestinians have been killed in a series of Israeli attacks today, including 37 aid seekers, some near a food site in Rafah.

This comes as the World Food Programme revealed thousands of Gazans are on the "verge of catastrophic hunger".

Syrian security forces have begun deploying in the Druze-majority province of Sweida, where sectarian violence has left more than 700 people dead, the interior ministry said on Saturday.

"Internal security forces have begun deploying in Sweida province... with the aim of protecting civilians and putting an end to the chaos," ministry spokesman Noureddine al-Baba said in a statement on Telegram.
