Nine Palestinians were detained early Friday as Israel continues to raid the occupied territory, while Israeli strikes target southern Gaza.

Israeli strikes targeted Khan Younis early on Friday, in the southern Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire coming into effect on 10 October.

Israeli forces detained at least nine Palestinians across the occupied West Bank early Friday as raids on the territory continue.

Four Palestinians were detained in the Askar refugee camp in Nablus, including a father and his two sons. Another four were detained in Silwad, east of Ramallah, while one Palestinian in Jenin was detained after Israeli forces raided his home.

Sources say Israeli forces fired stun bombs and tear gas, raiding and ransacking homes, damaging vehicles, vandalising shops and smashing windows, Wafa reports.
