The Israeli army launched multiple strikes on the Marj Aqmata area of southern Lebanon’s Louaizeh Heights early on Monday morning, marking the latest incident in Israel's ongoing ceasefire violations.
The attacks come after 14 airstrikes were recorded in southern and eastern Lebanon on Sunday evening, according to the country’s state-run National News Agency, ranging from the western Bekaa Valley to the country’s South and Nabatieh Governorates.
Israel’s military issued a statement claiming to have targeted Hezbollah weapon storage facilities and military installations. The army also alleged to have hit a military base belonging to the elite Radwan Force unit.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s foreign ministry issued a statement on Monday saying that it had sent a letter to the UN Security Council, including a complaint regarding the continued Israeli violations during the past months.
Beirut has requested that the complaint be issued as an official document to the UNSC and distributed to all its member states.
According to the foreign ministry, it includes three tables detailing "Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty on a daily basis" over the course of October, November and December 2025, recording 2,036 violations in total.
Israel continues to occupy five strategic points along the Lebanese border, refusing to fully withdraw from the territory despite it being a key component of the ceasefire agreement that was reached in November 2024.
Israel has killed more than 4,000 people and injured nearly 17,000 others since its offensive in Lebanon in October 2023. More than 350 people have been killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire came into effect, according to an AFP tally
Israel has accused Hezbollah of rearming in the country’s south, criticising the army’s progress to disarm the group as insufficient.
