Israeli forces have killed over 80 Palestinians on Wednesday in attacks across the Gaza Strip, particularly on Gaza City as Israel's assault on the capital intensifies.
At least 60 of those casualties were from Gaza City.
Israel has also targeted Palestinian people seeking aid and the refugee camp of Nuseirat, where scores of Palestinians are sheltering, as well as the city of Khan Younis.
11 of the victims were aid seekers in the south of the enclave, the sources said.
Israeli forces fired at and killed at least three of those aid seekers near a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) centre in Al-Shakoush, on the outskirts of Rafah, according to a local ambulance source.
Other people were injured in the attack.
Among those aid seekers killed in the attack is footballer Mohammed al-Satri, who played for Shabab Rafah Club. Over 400 Palestinian footballers have been killed since the outbreak of the war nearly two years ago, while close to 3,000 aid seekers have been killed during the same period.
Israel's intensification of attacks was carried out as world leaders continue to meet in New York for the UN General Assembly, where Palestinian recognition and Israel's war on Gaza are on the agenda.
