Israeli forces have killed at least 100 Palestinians in the past 24 hours, including 20 people seeking aid in the southern city of Khan Younis.

Israeli forces have killed dozens of Palestinians in Gaza, including at least 20 aid seekers, despite 10-hour "humanitarian pauses" being announced by Tel Aviv for the distribution of aid.

Earlier on Monday, Gaza's ministry of health said at least 100 Palestinians had been killed and 382 injured over the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since October 2023 to 59,921 and 145,233 wounded.

The ministry added that the death toll since 18 March is 8,755, with 33,192 people injured in that period.

UNICEF on Monday warned that children are bearing the brunt of Israel's starvation of Gaza's population, urging that sufficient amounts of aid be allowed in immediately.
