Israeli attacks escalate across Gaza as aid remains restricted, with officials reporting 535 violations and the army announcing new fighter casualties.

Israeli forces have continued launching widespread bombardments across the Gaza Strip despite the fragile truce, further worsening the already dire humanitarian situation as Israel continues to obstruct aid delivery.

At dawn and throughout Saturday morning, the Israeli army intensified its land, sea and air strikes on several areas of the Strip under its control.

According to Anadolu Agency, the bombardment targeted eastern neighbourhoods of Gaza City and the town of Beit Lahia in the north, the eastern areas of the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, as well as Rafah city and the towns of al-Qarara and Bani Suheila east of Khan Younis in the south.

The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that Israel has committed 535 documented violations since the ceasefire agreement took effect last October, resulting in 350 deaths and nearly 900 injuries.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced on Friday that it had discovered the bodies of nine Palestinian fighters recently killed in the southern Gaza Strip.

It said its soldiers, during operations in eastern Rafah, found the nine fighters inside underground infrastructure, adding that more than 30 fighters have been killed in the Rafah area.
