Israel is pressing its assault on Gaza City, forcing the displacement of thousands of civilians who continue to make their way southward.
Israeli strikes targeted parts of Gaza City, including the tents near the al-Maqousi Towers, as well as the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa. According to Al Jazeera, at least 18 people have been killed since dawn.
63,371 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's war on the enclave, with a further 159,835 wounded.
Likewise, Israeli forces have also been conducting demolitions in Gaza City's Zeitoun and Sabra neighbourhoods as forces continue to move into the city, Wafa reports.
Meanwhile, Israel carried out two airstrikes on southern Lebanon's Ali al-Taher and Upper Nabatieh, according to Lebanon's National News Agency, with the military saying it struck Hezbollah sites.
