Iran prepares to announce a new Hormuz shipping route as Israeli attacks kill 11 in Lebanon and continue in Gaza.

Tensions in the US-Israel war on Iran are escalating further, with Tehran warning it could strike US oil and gas companies in the Middle East after Washington threatened to "destroy" Iranian tankers. Iran is also preparing to declare a restricted zone near the Strait of Hormuz and announce a new shipping route agreed with Oman.

In Lebanon, at least 12 people, including two children, four women and a paramedic, were killed in Israeli attacks on Kfar Rumman on Monday, as the toll from three days of Israeli attacks rose to 27 killed and 69 wounded.

In Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued despite the ceasefire, with a three-year-old boy among those killed, while the overall death toll from Israel's genocidal war has risen to at least 73,658.
