Horses bolt from Jordan royal stables as fire grips surroundings
A band of horses escaped royal stables and galloped down a main road in Jordan on Sunday, according to local reports.
The horses escaped after a blaze broke out near the stables in Al-Hamr, west of Amman.
A video shared on social purportedly showed at least a dozen horses galloping down the main road linking the city of Salt to the Jordanian capital, bringing unsuspecting cars to a halt.

The fate of the horses is not yet known.
The royal stables were established in the 1950s and hosts scores of Arabian horses. The stables are directed by Princess Alia, sister of King Abdullah.
