Israel's genocidal war on Gaza is 'not over', despite the ceasefire being agreed upon on 10 October, rights group Amnesty International warned.
In a new briefing, Amnesty provided legal analysis, along with testimonies from Palestinians, medical staff and humanitarian workers on the ongoing conditions of Palestinians in Gaza.
"Israel's Genocide is not over," Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International's Secretary General, said. "The ceasefire risks creating a dangerous illusion that life in Gaza is returning to normal."
This comes as Israel continues its widespread offensive in the occupied West Bank, having detained over 100 Palestinians and injured dozens in Tubas. While another raid in Jenin injured two Palestinian teenagers after Israeli forces opened fire during a raid in the area.
The Israeli military said it had carried out another series of strikes against southern Lebanon, exactly a year into the ceasefire with Hezbollah.
Israeli aircraft launched "a series of raids on Al-Mahmoudiya and Al-Jarmak in the Jezzine area", Lebanon's state-run National News Agency said.
