Three Israeli soldiers have been reported injured in a suspected car-ramming attack in northern Israel, on Sunday morning.
The driver was reportedly shot dead at the scene by Israeli forces who opened fire on the vehicle, following the incident close to Acre's train station.
Maan news agency reported that the Israeli soldiers suffered minor wounds. Two of the soldiers are reportedly Israeli border guards.

Photos and video footage from the scene posted on Twitter showed a silver 4x4 surrounded by soldiers. The door is open and the vehicle appears to have someone inside.
Other footage shows the vehicle surrounded by emergency services staff with ambulances tending to the injured.
The identity of the driver is not yet known, however, Israeli police are investigating the incident.
