Donald Trump’s daughter gives birth to half Lebanese grandchild

The daughter of US President Donald Trump has given birth to a baby boy with her husband, who is an American-Lebanese business executive.

Tiffany Trump and her husband, Michael Boulos named the baby Alexander Trump Boulos.

"Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos. We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives," Trump wrote on Instagram on Thursday posting a photo of her holding the baby's foot.

The US President first announced he would welcome a grandchild in October while speaking at the Detroit Economic Club, with his daughter confirming the pregnancy on her social media months later.

Tiffany and Bolous, the son of a wealthy Lebanese family, first began dating in 2018 after meeting in Greece at a nightclub.

The heir proposed to Trump in January 2021 with a 13-carat emerald-cut diamond from Dubai that is believed to be worth up to $1.2 million.

At the time her father was ending his first term as president and Washington was gripped by the Capitol riots, which were instigated by his supporters.

The couple tied the knot in December 2022.

Bolous' billionaire father, Massad, is the newly appointed senior adviser to the US president on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs, entering US politics after his son began dating Trump's daughter.

He has acted as one of Donald Trump's key emissaries to the Arab American community during the 2024 elections, amid widespread dissatisfaction in the community with the Democratic Party over its support for Israel's wars in Gaza and Lebanon.

The billionaire has also actively engaged with Lebanese media to convey Trump's messages in his political campaign.

Bolous' father also ran for a parliamentary seat in Lebanon in 2009.

Trump however, has continued with pro-Israel policies, providing weapons as it carries out a genocidal assault on Gaza and proposing a plan to turn Gaza into a luxury resort that would see its inhabitants displaced.
