The death toll in Jenin, occupied West Bank has risen to five as Israeli forces used armoured vehicles, soldiers, and helicopters to carry out an assault on the city's refugee camp.
Witnesses said that military helicopters hit targets and if confirmed this would be the first time in over 20 years that such means have been used by Israel in the West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry named the victims as 21-year-old Khaled Azam Asaasah, Qais Majdi Adel Jabareen, also 21, 29-year-old Qassam Faysal Abu Sariyeh, 19-year-old Ahmed Khaled Fayez Daraghmeh and Ahmad Youssef Saqer, who was only 15.

The ministry also stated that 91 individuals sustained injuries, including dozens in critical condition.
Many are being treated, notably in Jenin's Governmental Hospital.
The Israeli military claimed that the raid was carried out with the aim of capturing the son of a Palestinian leader detained in Israeli jails.
Palestinian health minister calls for 'urgent' dispatch of blood to Jenin following raid
Palestinian minister of health Mai Al-Kaila instructed an urgent dispatch of the necessary medical needs, including medicines, medical supplies and blood units, to Jenin hospitals, where scores of wounded Palestinians are being treated for injuries sustained as a result of the Israeli raid.
91 were reported to be injured, with at least 10 in critical condition.
Israeli forces withdraw from Jenin following 10-hour raid on West Bank city
Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin on Monday afternoon, approximately ten hours after a deadly raid which resulted in the death of five Palestinians. and the wounding of 91 others, according to The New Arab's Arabic-language site, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.
91 people are also wounded, according to the Palestinian health ministry, including 23 in serious condition.
Fifth Palestinian victim of Jenin raid identified
The Palestinian ministry of health revealed the name of the fifth Palestinian to be killed in Monday morning's deadly raid on Jenin, West Bank.
The victim was identified as 19-year-old Ahmed Khaled Fayez Daraghmeh.
Israeli forces killed at least 5 Palestinians in an incursion on a camp in the city of Jenin, with witnesses saying a military helicopter was used to bomb targets.

Jordan condemns Israeli raid on Jenin camp
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli escalation in Jenin on Monday, warning that a "price will be paid" should the cycle of violence continue.
Ambassador Sinan Majali, the Foreign Ministry's spokesperson, stressed the need for an end to the continuous incursions in Palestinian cities, and protect them from repeated attacks. He also emphasised that the Israeli escalation constitutes "a violation of international humanitarian law."
Majali stressed the need for "the international community to act immediately" to stop this aggression and provide protection for the Palestinian people in all the occupied territories.
Journalist covering Israeli raid in Jenin 'seriously' injured
Hazem Nasser, a Palestinian photojournalist with Al-Ghad TV, is said to be "seriously" wounded by Israeli gunfire after he was shot in the abdomen while covering the Israeli raid in Jenin, West Bank.
The journalist said that Israeli soldiers shot at him multiple times as he took cover, according to Al Jazeera.
Nasser reportedly informed his colleagues through a voice note that he was "surrounded" by Israeli forces as they shot at him.

Another journalist, Hafiz Abu Sabra, told the Palestinian official agency Wafa that Israeli forces directly opened gunfire at his vehicle while he was covering the assault near the entrance of the camp, causing damage.
Palestinian Authority strongly condemns deadly Jenin raid
The Palestinian cabinet strongly lambasted the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, which claimed the life of five Palestinians so far and 91 injuries, 10 of them in critical condition.
"The international silence and double standards encourage the Israeli government to practice more killing, destruction and intimidation against our people, and as long as the Israel forces, the occupying power, will not be held accountable for their crimes, such aggression and assault will continue," the statement read.
"Our people will confront such aggression," they added, "all ministries are ready to provide what is needed to support our people in Jenin."
